Minimalist and geometric, IVY consists of a ring suspended from a cable, which powers a custom-made LED module. Equipped with a single and double cable (IVY I and IVY V respectively), IVY responds to the growing need for flexibility in the current context of architectural and renovation activities, allowing the lamp to move away from the ceiling power source.
IVY takes its name from the English for ivy , the plant that has the characteristic of reaching everywhere and covering large surfaces, and refers to the grouping of lamps on multiple cables that resemble climbing branches. These cables, in fact, intertwine and overlap just like the plant, adapting to the environment and framing some details of the space. The composition enhances specific focal points from different points of view or depending on the perspective of whoever walks through the room.
The design is also inspired by rings, particularly wedding rings, repurposed as the pendant of a necklace. This motif, which translates into the position of the ring on the double cable, places emphasis on this simple but precious object, which makes the perfection of the shape its value.
IVY I is a single pendant lamp, equipped with a single cable that supports the ring, which can be used alone or in compositions on Lodes ‘ multiple rosettes .
