Sturdy bases in white Carrara marble or grey Carnico marble , which symbolise the solid trunks of Oak Island, support the tops made of solid Canaletta walnut via a central metal stem. The lively and expressive tops feature elegant curves that are reminiscent of pebbles smoothed by the waves.
Just as islands are shaped by the sea, each of these coffee tables comes in different shapes and sizes: round, square or oval with three different height configurations.
Ekero Coffee Table
These modern coffee tables are a new addition to the Archipelago collection, designed by the duo Tollgard-Castellani. Ekero is named after Oak Island, located just outside Stockholm, where creative director Tollgard grew up.
The idea of enclosing one material within another, just as islands are surrounded by the sea, is the common thread running through these pieces.
